One day, when he was forcibly made to swallow an unknown object by some bullies, he unexpectedly becomes a 'superman' who exerts transcendental powers. But what do you do when you become a ‘superman’? Will you be a 'hero' who has to go through hardships to solve the case? Or a 'villain' who commits all kinds of evil? No matter how you look at it, the ones with a lot of money and charisma are ‘villains’. If so, why should I bother being a hero?!\n\n**Original Webtoon:**  \n[KakaoPage](https://page.kakao.com/content/58149550), [Daum](https://webtoon.kakao.com/content/%ED%9E%88%EC%96%B4%EB%A1%9C%EA%B0%80-%EB%90%98%EC%A7%80-%EC%95%8A%EA%B8%B0%EB%A1%9C-%ED%96%88%EB%8B%A4/3979)","published":{"start_date":"2021-01-01","end_date":"2023-07-14","start_date_is_estimated":true,"end_date_is_estimated":false},"status":"completed","is_licensed":false,"content_rating":"suggestive","type":"manhwa","original_language":"ko","rating":65.3,"popularity":{"global":{"current":34130,"history":{"1d":34105,"1w":34364,"1mo":35268,"3mo":30081,"6mo":78391,"1y":107810}},"type":{"current":7855,"history":{"1d":7850,"1w":7870,"1mo":7963,"3mo":6615,"6mo":9657,"1y":12324}}},"last_updated_at":"2026-10-14T05:51:26.811Z","source":{"anilist":{"id":null,"rating":null,"rating_normalized":null},"anime_planet":{"id":"decide-to-be-a-villain","rating":3.5,"rating_normalized":70},"anime_news_network":{"id":null,"rating":null,"rating_normalized":null},"kitsu":{"id":68211,"rating":null,"rating_normalized":null},"manga_updates":{"id":"dduuwe1","rating":6.06,"rating_normalized":61},"my_anime_list":{"id":null,"rating":null,"rating_normalized":null},"shikimori":{"id":null,"rating":null,"rating_normalized":null}},"publishers":[{"id":5081,"name":"Daum","canonical_url":"https://mangabaka.org/publisher/5081/Daum","language":"ko","note":null},{"id":3109,"name":"Kakao","canonical_url":"https://mangabaka.org/publisher/3109/Kakao","language":"ko","note":null},{"id":1374,"name":"Somy Media","canonical_url":"https://mangabaka.org/publisher/1374/Somy-Media","language":"ko","note":null}],"rating_count":7,"final_volume":null,"total_chapters":65,"titles":[{"language":"ko","traits":["native"],"title":"히어로가 되지 않기로 했다","is_primary":true},{"language":"en","traits":[],"title":"Decided Not to Be a Hero","is_primary":true},{"language":"ko-Latn","traits":["native"],"title":"Decide to Be a Villain","is_primary":true},{"language":"vi","traits":[],"title":"Không Làm Anh Hùng Để Trở Thành Nhân Vật Phản Diện","is_primary":true},{"language":"ru","traits":[],"title":"Решил не быть героем","is_primary":true}],"cover":{"raw":"https://media.kitsu.app/manga/68211/poster_image/b142b3c5d4dd2529fdbe23a2a7499a98.png","x150":"https://cdn.mangabaka.dev/imgproxy/plain/x150@1/aHR0cHM6Ly9tZWRpYS5raXRzdS5hcHAvbWFuZ2EvNjgyMTEvcG9zdGVyX2ltYWdlL2IxNDJiM2M1ZDRkZDI1MjlmZGJlMjNhMmE3NDk5YTk4LnBuZw","x250":"https://cdn.mangabaka.dev/imgproxy/plain/x250@1/aHR0cHM6Ly9tZWRpYS5raXRzdS5hcHAvbWFuZ2EvNjgyMTEvcG9zdGVyX2ltYWdlL2IxNDJiM2M1ZDRkZDI1MjlmZGJlMjNhMmE3NDk5YTk4LnBuZw","x350":"https://cdn.mangabaka.dev/imgproxy/plain/x350@1/aHR0cHM6Ly9tZWRpYS5raXRzdS5hcHAvbWFuZ2EvNjgyMTEvcG9zdGVyX2ltYWdlL2IxNDJiM2M1ZDRkZDI1MjlmZGJlMjNhMmE3NDk5YTk4LnBuZw","blurhash":"|HB:gJ0L%KM|skR*xaWBofbds8IV-:W=t7Rkaxay-;M|bFRjWBWUt6kCf8D*xuj[WBofayM{offRE1xujbR%kCWCofWXt6sobbocV[jta{WWoKWCNaxtV[bYofV[ofRjj@%2RjbEa#WBt7ayofWBM{axs:azofs;Rjj@WB","width":160,"height":216},"anime":{"exists":false,"start":null,"end":null}}}
