Kento Kumagaya wishes for the simple things in life: to have a happy family with the ideal housewife, loving kids, and kind grandparents all living together, happily ever after. Fate, however, has other plans. Enter Akira Kazuki, a smart, beautiful and unrestrained gay man who shatters Kento's dream with a single night of wild and passionate homosexual sex. This is a romantic, sweet and funny story between two different people (in more ways than one) who unexpectedly find the same future together.\n\n(Source: SuBLime)","published":{"start_date":"2001-04-28","end_date":"2002-05-07","start_date_is_estimated":false,"end_date_is_estimated":false},"status":"completed","is_licensed":true,"content_rating":"safe","type":"manga","original_language":"ja","rating":76.2497428571429,"popularity":{"global":{"current":8307,"history":{"1d":8300,"1w":8278,"1mo":8128,"3mo":7596,"6mo":6192,"1y":4696}},"type":{"current":5508,"history":{"1d":5505,"1w":5508,"1mo":5481,"3mo":5241,"6mo":4564,"1y":3761}}},"last_updated_at":"2026-10-14T00:41:09.024Z","source":{"anilist":{"id":35566,"rating":7.2,"rating_normalized":72},"anime_planet":{"id":"future-lovers","rating":3.7,"rating_normalized":74},"anime_news_network":{"id":10651,"rating":8.00182,"rating_normalized":80},"kitsu":{"id":11995,"rating":7.323,"rating_normalized":73},"manga_updates":{"id":"vr87d0w","rating":8.48,"rating_normalized":85},"my_anime_list":{"id":5566,"rating":7.48,"rating_normalized":75},"shikimori":{"id":5566,"rating":7.49,"rating_normalized":75}},"publishers":[{"id":1275,"name":"Biblos","canonical_url":"https://mangabaka.org/publisher/1275/Biblos","language":"ja","note":null},{"id":1730,"name":"Deux","canonical_url":"https://mangabaka.org/publisher/1730/Deux","language":"en","note":"Defunct / 2 Vols - Complete"},{"id":28,"name":"SuBLime","canonical_url":"https://mangabaka.org/publisher/28/SuBLime","language":"en","note":"2 Vols - Complete; digital"}],"rating_count":1965,"final_volume":2,"total_chapters":9,"titles":[{"language":"en","traits":["official"],"title":"Future Lovers","is_primary":true},{"language":"ja-Latn","traits":["native"],"title":"Mirai no Kioku","is_primary":true},{"language":"ru","traits":[],"title":"Помни о будущем","is_primary":true},{"language":"zh","traits":[],"title":"未來的記憶","is_primary":true},{"language":"ja","traits":["native"],"title":"未来の記憶","is_primary":true}],"cover":{"raw":"https://s4.anilist.co/file/anilistcdn/media/manga/cover/medium/b35566-edihnekrpZYO.png","x150":"https://cdn.mangabaka.dev/imgproxy/plain/x150@1/aHR0cHM6Ly9zNC5hbmlsaXN0LmNvL2ZpbGUvYW5pbGlzdGNkbi9tZWRpYS9tYW5nYS9jb3Zlci9tZWRpdW0vYjM1NTY2LWVkaWhuZWtycFpZTy5wbmc","x250":"https://cdn.mangabaka.dev/imgproxy/plain/x250@1/aHR0cHM6Ly9zNC5hbmlsaXN0LmNvL2ZpbGUvYW5pbGlzdGNkbi9tZWRpYS9tYW5nYS9jb3Zlci9tZWRpdW0vYjM1NTY2LWVkaWhuZWtycFpZTy5wbmc","x350":"https://cdn.mangabaka.dev/imgproxy/plain/x350@1/aHR0cHM6Ly9zNC5hbmlsaXN0LmNvL2ZpbGUvYW5pbGlzdGNkbi9tZWRpYS9tYW5nYS9jb3Zlci9tZWRpdW0vYjM1NTY2LWVkaWhuZWtycFpZTy5wbmc","blurhash":"|RN9R0^7Fp9hS#aew|-.N1w]%JV_jFxuoMWAoft6~VkoIV-nShWAR*NLofwMWYS3bXShf7xCS5NeKQbswI%1kDsTjFSOtQ-T%Kt7fjS6jcRkW.xstkS2M{bbn+M}oJt6kWs:X9R+WAbFoeWEWDj@t7oKaexat6oejYV@Wr","width":230,"height":325},"anime":{"exists":false,"start":null,"end":null}}}
